Seit den 1980er Jahren ist Leonore Adler eine aktive Akteurin der freien Kunstszene in Dresden und beteiligt sich an Ausstellungen, Installationen und Kunstaktionen im \u00f6ffentlichen Raum. Zu ihren fr\u00fchen Arbeiten z\u00e4hlen Graffiti-Projekte in Dresden-Johannstadt (1984\u20131986) sowie ein Wandbild in Pirna-Sonnenstein (1987). Es folgten Beteiligungen an Ausstellungen wie der Bezirkskunstausstellung Dresden (1989) und Projekte mit der Dresdner Sezession 89, darunter Erinnerungszeit, Lebens-Kreislauf und Amorosa. In den 1990er- und 2000er-Jahren setzte sie ihre Arbeit im Bereich Installation und Objektkunst fort, sowohl im institutionellen Kontext als auch im Au\u00dfenraum, unter anderem auf den Elbwiesen und im Gro\u00dfen Garten in Dresden. 2010 nahm sie am Kunstfestival \u201eOrn\u00f6\u201c mit der Arbeit Sitzprobe f\u00fcr Braut und Br\u00e4utigam teil.<\/span><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Adlers k\u00fcnstlerische Praxis ist gepr\u00e4gt von einem experimentellen und prozesshaften Umgang mit Farbe, Form und Material. In Schichtungen, \u00dcberlagerungen und partiellen Freilegungen bleiben fr\u00fchere Zust\u00e4nde sichtbar \u2013 vergleichbar mit Erinnerungen, die sich ver\u00e4ndern, verblassen oder neu deuten lassen.<\/span><\/div>

Ihre Werke befinden sich in einem Zustand der Ruhe auf Zeit. Manche bleiben unver\u00e4ndert, andere werden nach Jahren wieder aufgenommen und weiterbearbeitet. Nicht das Ergebnis steht im Vordergrund, sondern die Ver\u00e4nderung.<\/div>
In den letzten Jahren hat sich ihr Fokus verschoben: weg vom Menschen hin zur Tierwelt, insbesondere zu Insekten. Durch die \u00dcberarbeitung \u00e4lterer Bilder und Aquarelle entstehen neue, lebendige Bildwelten, in denen auch scheinbar unscheinbare oder \u00fcbersehene Lebewesen ihren Platz finden.<\/div>
Leonore Adlers Arbeiten verweisen auf die Verbundenheit allen Lebens und laden dazu ein, auch dem Kleinen und Unbeachteten mit Aufmerksamkeit und Respekt zu begegnen.<\/div>

VERNISSAGE | 31 MAY 2026 | 8:00 PM Exhibition by Leonore Adler Since the 1980s, Leonore Adler has been an active figure in the independent art scene in Dresden, participating in exhibitions, installations, and art projects in public spaces. Her early works include graffiti projects in Dresden-Johannstadt (1984\u20131986), as well as a mural in Pirna-Sonnenstein (1987). This was followed by her participation in exhibitions such as the Dresden District Art Exhibition (1989) and projects with the Dresdner Sezession 89, including Erinnerungszeit, Lebens-Kreislauf, and Amorosa. Through layering, superimposition, and partial uncovering, earlier states remain visible\u2014comparable to memories that change, fade, or are reinterpreted. \u00a0\u201cMy paintings are never finished.\u201d Her works exist in a state of temporary stillness. Some remain unchanged, while others are taken up again after years and further developed. It is not the end result that takes center stage, but the transformation.In recent years, her focus has shifted: away from the human figure and toward the animal world, particularly insects.
