August um 21:00 Uhr \u00f6ffnet die Full Moon Gallery zum ersten Mal ihre Fenster mit der ersten Ausstellung \u201eFacebook\u201c der K\u00fcnstlerin Jakyeong.\nSie hat das Leben verschiedener Menschen auf der Stra\u00dfe beobachtet, in Zeitungen dazu gelesen, Flyer und Werbespots betrachtet. In den Augen einer Fremden sehen die Menschen vielleicht nicht so vertraut aus, manchmal wirken sie sogar bizarr.<\/p><p>Jakyeongs Alltag inspirierte sie dazu, diese Erfahrung in ihrer Kunst zu verarbeiten, indem sie verschiedene Figuren und Farben zu seltsamen Themen kombinierte und dabei westliche Motive mit koreanischer Volkskunst vermischte. Gegenw\u00e4rtig ist ihre Lieblingsfigur der Tiger, der stark mit dem koreanischen Volk und der koreanischen Volkskunst assoziiert wird. Als autodidaktische Malerin entsprechen ihre Werke vielleicht nicht ganz den akademischen Regeln, aber sie f\u00fchlt sich frei, verschiedene Materialien und Techniken f\u00fcr ihre Werke anzuwenden.<\/p><p>Jakyeong hat in Bern in der Schweiz und in Bologna in Italien gelebt und arbeitet derzeit in Dresden. Ausstellungen von Jakyeong fanden im Juli 2018 in der Luda Gallery Seoul und im Juli 2019 in einem privaten Ausstellungsraum in Zirtow been an observer of different people\u2019s lives on the streets, through newspapers, flyers and commercials.\u00a0 People might not look so familiar to the foreigner\u2019s eyes and sometimes they can even seem bizarre. Jakyeong\u2019s daily habit inspired her to present this experience in the art by combining different characters and colors into the twisted theme mixing western-style motives and Korean folk art. Currently, her favourite character is the tiger, which has been strongly associated with the Korean folk art. As a self-taught painter, her works probably are not fully in line with academic rules but she feels free to apply divers\u2019 materials and skills to her works. Jakyeong has lived in Bern, Switzerland and in Bologna, Italy. Currently she lives in Dresden.
