Die FULL MOON GALLERY ist ein Kunstraum im Hechtviertel in Dresden, welcher vom Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. 2020 mit der Absicht initiiert wurde, einen Raum und eine Umgebung zu kreieren, die es lokalen und internationalen bildenden K\u00fcnstlerInnen erm\u00f6glicht, ihre Werke auf innovative Weise zu pr\u00e4sentieren. Als lebendiger Ausstellungsort widmet sich die FULL MOON GALLERY durch die Produktion, Pr\u00e4sentation und Vermittlung zeitgen\u00f6ssischer progressiver Kunst zentralen Fragen der Gegenwart. Der thematische Fokus liegt dabei vor allem auf der Ber\u00fccksichtigung von Diversit\u00e4t, Internationalit\u00e4t und lokalen Bez\u00fcgen. Gezeigt werden monatlich wechselnde Einzel-, Gruppen- und Themenausstellungen zu aktuellen kulturellen und sozialen Prozessen in Auseinandersetzung mit den zeitgen\u00f6ssischen K\u00fcnsten. Der Vollmond als elementares und titelgebendes Element der Galerie bestimmt das Er\u00f6ffnungsdatum einer jeden Ausstellung. Immer zum Vollmond l\u00e4dt die FULL MOON GALLERY zu einer \u00f6ffentlichen Vernissage ein, in der die Fenster als essenzieller Kunstraum dienen. Rund um die Uhr und f\u00fcr jeder Zeit frei zug\u00e4nglich werden zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunstwerke in den neun gro\u00dfen beleuchteten Schaufenstern der Au\u00dfenwelt pr\u00e4sentiert.<\/p>

Unter der k\u00fcnstlerischen Leitung von Stefan Kiehne zeigt die FULL MOON GALLERY stets Ausstellungen, die sich aus dem Bestreben entwickeln, zeitgen\u00f6ssische und gesellschaftspolitische Themen wider zu spiegeln. Die Galerie versteht sich dabei als sozialer Raum, der die Reflexion und den Austausch zwischen verschiedenen AkteurInnen und Kulturen erm\u00f6glicht und seine BesucherInnen kontinuierlich herausfordert. Mit zw\u00f6lf Ausstellungen pro Jahr, die Gem\u00e4lde, Zeichnungen, Fotografien, Collagen, Skulpturen, Filme, Installationen sowie Performances, Street Art und Konzeptkunst umfassen, hat sich die FULL MOON GALLERY in Dresden fest im Spektrum zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Kunst verankert.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

EXHIBITIONS Full Moon Gallery Initieted by Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. The FULL MOON GALLERY has been initiated by the Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. 2020 with the intention of creating a space and environment that enables local and international visual artists to present their work in the most innovative way. As a vibrant exhibition space, the FULL MOON GALLERY addresses central matters of the present through the production, presentation and mediation of contemporary progressive art. The primary thematic focus is on the consideration of diversity, internationality and local references. On display are monthly changing solo, group and conceptual exhibitions on current cultural and social processes in engagement with the contemporary arts. The full moon, as an elementary and defining element of the gallery, determines the opening date of each exhibition. Always on the occasion of the full moon, the FULL MOON GALLERY invites you to a public vernissage in which the windows serve as the essential art space. Around the clock and freely accessible to everyone, contemporary artworks are presented to the outside world in the nine large illuminated display windows. Under the curatorial direction of Stefan Kiehne, the FULL MOON GALLERY always presents exhibitions that evolve out of a desire to reflect contemporary and socio-political issues. The gallery sees itself as a social space that facilitates reflection and exchange between different actors and cultures and continuously challenges its visitors.
